We are proud to give our users a better way to share their work and thoughts. We also recognize that however good the maker’s intentions, technology can amplify the ability to cause great harm. That is why we have adopted this policy. We feel an ethical obligation to counter such harm: both in terms of dealing with instances where Virality is used (and abused) to further such harm, and to state unequivocally that the products we make at ANGKEL G.P. are not safe havens for people who wish to commit such harm. If you have an account with any of our products, you can’t use them for any of the restricted purposes listed below.
While our use restrictions are comprehensive, they can’t be exhaustive — it’s possible an offense could defy categorization, present for the first time, or illuminate a moral quandary we hadn’t yet considered. That said, we hope the overarching spirit is clear: Virality is not to be harnessed for harm, whether mental, physical, personal or civic. Different points of view — philosophical, religious, and political — are welcome, but ideologies like white nationalism, or hate-fueled movements anchored by oppression, violence, abuse, extermination, or domination of one group over another, will not be accepted here.
While we strive for uninterrupted and as unlimited as possible usage, we do have to safeguard our products from misuse and abuse. All subscription plans include expected usage guidelines (Publishing and Pageviews limitations) subject to this policy. As a guideline for our community, we expect most users to fall within the below ranges for each plan. We will notify you if your usage is an outlier. Our goal is to be as permissive as possible while not allowing an unreasonable burden on our infrastructure. Where possible, we will reach out to you ahead of any action we take to address unreasonable usage and work with you to correct it. For accounts on trial plans we expect up to 5 posts in total per month while for paid accounts the expected publishing behaviour is expected up to 30 posts per month. Similarly, we are happy to see our users thrive and have their content reach as many users as possible but we expect up to 100k pageviews monthly on average. It is possible that if your account consistently (2 months in a row) surpasses these limits we will reach out to discuss the proper way to move forward.
